Learn what questions to ask your customers
Learn sales techniques for your market or audience
Learn ays to attract new customers or increase sales to existing clients

Bring:

• 1-3 pieces of your jewelry for "show and tell" and to practice sales techniques.

During the last half hour of each two hour class, time will be allowed for answering questions and discussing the jewelry brought/made by class attendees. You'll have the opportunity to hear comments from other jewelers and learn from each other.

About Mary Bahus-Meyer:

Mary loves jewelry and has designed it, sold it, and created reproductions of museum pieces. She considers most jewelers as artists who work with beads, stones, and metal as their paint and canvas. Like artists, they are often right brain, creative people who are talented but may need a little help with their business and marketing skills.

Mary has taught marketing classes to artists at the Loveland Museum Gallery, Business of Art Center in Manitou Springs and at Fastframe custom framing store and art gallery in Colorado Springs.

She has years of experience buying for and managing stores, including purchasing of jewelry:

• Developed hundreds of jewelry designs for museums and mail order catalogs
• Managed wholesale & catalog sales for Michou jewelry company in California
• Buyer and product development specialist for the Smithsonian Gift Catalog 7 ½ years
• Managed the Walters Art Museum store and mail order catalog in Baltimore
• Managed an art gallery and custom framing store in Colorado Springs

Mary has been co-owner of Full Circle Marketing & Design for 10 years. Her background is in marketing, wholesale, retail and museum sales, product development, copy writing, and art education. Her company uses their business and sales experience to create memorable designs and marketing magic for their clients.
